Rules for handling gold bars

  • Products made of precious metals must be stored and used under conditions that prevent mechanical damage.
  • Avoid interaction of products made of precious metals with substances containing active chemical compounds (household chemicals, cosmetics, etc.). Compounds of chlorine, iodine and mercury are especially dangerous.
  • Banking bullion made of precious metals weighing 1 gr, 2 gr, 5 gr, 10 gr, and 31.1035 gr are stored in special protected packaging that protects precious metals from oxidation, contamination and mechanical damage. Bullion weighing 100 grams are stored without protected packaging in plastic bags.
  • The high standard of the precious metal makes the metal extremely soft – the surface is scratched even by the touch of fingers, cloth or napkins. When opening a secure package, the likelihood of contamination or damage to the metal increases many times over.
  • When working with bullion weighing 100 grams, you must use soft cotton gloves and take the bar at the edges only.
  • The integrity of the secure packaging guarantees the authenticity of the bullion and ensures immediate settlement with the client upon repurchase of the bullion. If the packaging with the measuring bullion is damaged or missing, then the bullion is sent for detailed examination to the NBKR. For carrying out a detailed examination, a fee of 7% of the amount of buyback of the bullion bar is charged.
