«KSB Commercial Bank» CJSC informs about amendments and additions to the Public Offer and the Agreement for the issuance and servicing of bank payment cards.
The changes have been introduced in order to bring the documents into compliance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as regulatory legal acts of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, including the Regulation “On Bank Payment Cards in the Kyrgyz Republic” (approved by the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic dated December 9, 2015 No. 76/8).
Main changes:
• 2.35. Tokenization in a payment system is a data protection technology for bank cards in which the real card number is replaced with a special digital code — a token.
• 2.36. Electronic wallet is a digital service or application that allows users to store money and pay for goods and services via the internet or a smartphone.
• 10.10.2. Customer data required to complete the process of adding a card to electronic wallets (tokenization) may be transferred to third parties (payment systems, service providers, and others) involved in providing the service, to the extent necessary for its implementation.
• 7.1.3. The client is responsible for transferring or selling the card to third parties, including financial transactions performed using the card at the instruction and in the interest of third parties for unlawful purposes.
• 4.4. The card is issued in the name of the cardholder and is intended for use exclusively by the cardholder. Transfer/sale of the card, as well as login credentials and passwords, to third parties is prohibited.
• 10.11. The cardholder provides the Bank with unconditional and irrevocable consent to send SMS and email notifications about card readiness for issuance, as well as about the upcoming expiration of the card (no later than 45 calendar days before expiry).
• 10.12. The cardholder provides the Bank with unconditional and irrevocable consent to send SMS and email notifications in case of interest accrual on cards issued under the previously existing processing system.
• 10.6. The cardholder agrees to receive SMS and email notifications for transactions performed on the card.
The changes will enter into force on May 25, 2026 and apply to both individuals and legal entities.
